Welcome
I’m a full-stack AI engineer and technical founder based in Seoul. I’m a zero-to-one product builder with end-to-end ownership. I turn ideas into products people can use, then keep refining them toward product-market fit through customer feedback and observing how people use them.
What I’m Building
My main focus is HoverNotes, a privacy-first AI tool for online video learners. It turns lectures, tutorials, and course videos into structured notes while you watch and saves them directly to your local Obsidian vault. I built the product end to end, from the browser extension and AI pipelines to the web app, payments, and local-first storage.
I’m also co-founder and CTO at Quest, where we help safari tour operators in East Africa turn complex travel plans into priced itineraries and client-ready quotes. I lead the engineering team and own the technical direction.
I also serve as president of the Ugandans in South Korea Association (USKA). That work led me to build JonjaBird, an end-to-end agentic AI system that helps foreign inmates in Korea stay in touch with their families abroad.
JonjaBird’s mailroom agent reads scanned letters, identifies senders and recipients, separates private material, and routes correspondence. It handles service requests and uses browser automation to submit outgoing letters through Korea Post, with delivery tracking connected back to the portal. I built the agent’s tools, operations API, persistent skills, and evaluation environment alongside the customer portal, payments, and document infrastructure. Read about the system.
Previous Work
Previously, I spent three years at Bebridge/Slid, growing from full-stack engineering into leading AI development. I built an AI auto-notes system that started as a side project and became a core premium feature, along with AI chat over notes, real-time transcription, and tools spanning the web app, desktop app, and browser extension. I also led a team of three building TexTutor, an AI essay-grading platform for Swiss schools.
I’ve also contracted with SpaceXAI on Grok model evaluation, reviewing AI-generated code and assessing how well it meets real software-engineering requirements. That contract ran from May to September 2026.
Background
I came to Korea from Uganda in 2018 on the Global Korea Scholarship, learned Korean to TOPIK 5 in eight months, and graduated cum laude in Electrical Engineering from Korea University. I taught myself to code because I wanted a practical way to bring my ideas into the world.
I have co-authored research on explainable machine learning published in SN Computer Science. I’ve also contributed to developer tools and AI/open-source ecosystems including LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, Editor.js, Redux Toolkit, MemGPT, Pytube, and FastAPI.
I work mainly with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python, FastAPI, LangGraph/LangChain, and PostgreSQL. I now write all my code with AI agents.
